I’m a dancer who never had a traditional dance career.

Instead, I created Booiaka^®.

I built it into a global brand, trained thousands of instructors and traveled to more than 35 countries. I toured with the USO, performed alongside Puerto Rican and Jamaican artists, and created events inspired by different cultures, rhythms, styles and people.

I took everything I learned from those experiences and brought it into the way I teach, create and lead.

But what you saw was only the finished product.

Behind it, I was learning how to build a brand. How to shoot and edit videos. How to write. How to create presentations, produce content, work in art department, and develop scripts for television. I learned through courses, certifications, masterclasses, mentorships, seminars and professional experience.

But mostly, I learned by doing.

Trying.
Making mistakes.
Practicing.
Failing.
Practicing again.

No matter how imperfect it was, I kept creating and putting my work into the world. Always the woman in the arena.

YouTube is actually how Booiaka classes were first seen online. Then I was invited to present at a convention in London—and BOOM. The Booiaka mania turned into an international business.

While trying to manage that rapid success, I was the one filming, editing, producing, choreographing...every single day.

I didn’t have all the tools we have today.

That was my path and what I can share with you is everything I learned from having to figure it out—often on my own and now I'm here for you. I help you amplify what makes it special and turn it into something you can communicate, build and spread to the world.

Sometimes that becomes a brand.
Sometimes a piece of content, a project or an entirely new direction.

I’ve worked on some pretty dope projects and I know you have a dope one too!

I know—it sounds like a lot.

But that’s what I do and I am obsessed with it!

I’m a creative, I see the possibilities in people and and I love helping bring those possibilities to life.

Oh...and I’m also a pusher.

I may push you too hard.
I may even make you upset.

But we’re going to win this together.
